Alycia Debnam-Carey is an Australian actress best known for Fear the Walking Dead and other shows on TV. Born in Sydney, she began her acting career at the age of was just eight years old. Martha's New Coat is her first acting role. In the McLeod's Daughter episode, she made her TV debut. In the science-fiction series The 100, she played a major part. The show was based on the novel series of the same title. She portrayed the role of Commander Lexa, the powerful chief of the 12 clans. The actress gained more attention after she starred in Fear the Walking Dead - the horror TV series. The show was met positively by critics, and also received numerous nominations and awards. She has appeared in other short films, including Jigsaw Girl and The Branch as well. Her debut feature film an integral part of the found film disaster film Into the Storm. Although the film was not widely acclaimed by reviewers, it was able to do extremely well on the level of commercial results.
